Robert T. Dowlearn
Mr. Dowlearn has over 35 years of business experience, ranging from pure entrepreneurial ventures to the expansion of major corporate divisions for F500 companies. Robert’s track record includes the successful execution of seven new market growth and development initiatives.
Prior to forming Knowledge Ops, Robert served as the Markets Leader for Ernst & Young’s Global Oil & Gas Center, where he developed the strategy and successfully executed the firm’s service identification, development and delivery initiative. He was responsible for building Ernst & Young’s global presence and brand preference by developing and leveraging marketing vehicles and platforms enabling client companies to more broadly engage E&Y’s energy practice. Coordinating with Oil & Gas Centers around the globe, Robert assessed the industry needs while overseeing the firm’s go-to-market initiatives with tailored services, thought leadership, forums and training designed to drive oil & gas marketing strategies.
Mr. Dowlearn was formerly the Energy Practice Manager for SAS Institute, where he built the first energy industry focused team for this leading provider of Business Intelligence, Decision Support and Analytic Intelligence Solutions. Robert has an additional 20 years of management experience in the development and delivery of industry leading solutions for various companies including Amoco Production, Koch Industries/United Energy Resources, Universal Computer Associates/Reynolds & Reynolds, Computer Associates and BMC Software.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Robert holds his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
